Matthew Johnson, Massage Therapist
Matthew Johnson, Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) completed his education in massage therapy at The Cortiva Institute in 2013. He has been practicing in the field for over 4 years and is well revered. He specializes in myofacial release as well as Shiatsu, Sports, Swedish and Deep Tissue massages. Matthew is creative and truly an artist at heart. He is a former chef, mechanically inclined, a huge hockey fan and is still playing goalie after 30 years. He is currently a resident of Phoenixville and is a dedicated husband and father to his wife, Joanna and to his 11-year-old son Leo.
Tracie Paton Hall, Massage Therapist
Tracie Paton Hall, BS., LMT is a licensed massage therapist with 25 years of "hands-on" experience. She grew up locally in Harleysville, Pa., attended Souderton High school and is a graduate of Eastern Mennonite College in Harrisonburg VA, where she studied Physical Ed, Health and Psych. Tracie embraced the concept of Wellness, (meaning balanced living = good Health in three areas of life. Physical, Emotional and Spiritual.) This led her to get her certification in Massage therapy from Inner Works in Cheltenham, Pa. She found this to be a perfect match to help people live in Healthy Balanced living. She wanted to stay within the Therapeutic face of Massage and has worked with several local Chiropractors and Geriatric communities. In 1999 she attended Mt, Nittany School of massage and received her Certification as a Holistic Health Ed. This was a perfect match along with her Therapeutic Massage and has helped many clients over the years. Tracie is eclectic in her approach to massage and therefore uses her skills and knowledge in Swedish massage, Medical Massage, Deep tissue and Trigger point Therapy. She structures her massage to meet specific personal needs to her clients. Charles Brynan III, Reflexologist
Charles Brynan III, MRP is a Medical Reflexologist and also a Senior Instructor in Yang style Tai Chi and Qigong. "Reflexology provides me the hands on opportunity to help individuals bring their body systems into balance. Through a specialized relaxation technique of applying pressure to reflex areas of the feet, Reflexology is known to improve nerve, blood and lymphatic supply, thereby encouraging the body to seek homeostasis and normalization . Charles has also been trained in Tibetan Neck and Scalp Reflexology. This form of reflexology is practiced on your head and is effective for muscle tension in the whole body, as well as: hypertension, headaches, insomnia, numbness, edema and other illnesses.Through a technique that stimulates zones, areas and points on the head, neck, shoulders and around the spine, Tibetan Neck and Scalp Reflexology sends impulses through the nerve pathways via the autonomic nervous system reaching all body tissues. Reflexology is a holistic system of pain relief, as well as allergy, digestive and inflammation relief. The therapist combines pressure at specific points located on the hand, foot, and ears. Through this technique the nervous system can be balanced and stress can be reduced.
